Alpine F1 Team have an opportunity as a Quality Assurance Engineer who will improve right first time of internally and externally sourced parts, developing processes and increasing efficiency across all operations related to car systems.
Quality Assurance Engineer – The Role
You will be part of the quality group reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the successful candidate will improve yield at all stages of the product life-cycle to support design, production, assembly, inspection and sign off testing. You will work closely with our design group in agreeing standards on behalf of the supply chain. Working with our purchasing group to support supplier quality and approval. Supporting the Inspection group to ensure standards and procedures for goods-inwards inspection, supplier inspection and internal stage inspection are optimised.
Quality Assurance Engineer – The Person
We are looking for an individual who has in depth knowledge of metallic and composite manufacturing processes with a thorough knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Quality Assurance Processes suited to lean/agile production of low-volume, short lead-time precision parts. Candidates with a thorough knowledge of inspection, metrology and NDT techniques and terminology will be a distinct advantage.
Candidates must be a self-driven team player, well organised, with a high attention to detail and a track record of influencing positive change at all levels of engineering, manufacturing and the supply chain.
