Renault F1 Team have two excellent opportunities to join our team at a tremendously exciting time in our history within Formula 1. As we continue to grow as a team, we are looking for two Quality Assurance Engineers (Metallics and Composites) who will look to develop and sustain quality assurance systems to provide quality assurance of internally and externally sourced parts with an objective of enhancing consistency across all operations related to car systems.
Quality Assurance Engineer – The Role
Reporting to the Head of Quality and Production Efficiency, the successful candidates will look to improve yield at all stages of the product life-cycle to support design, production, assembly, inspection and sign off testing. You will work with our purchasing team to support supplier approval and audits and support the Inspection team to ensure standards and procedures for goods-inwards inspection, supplier inspection and internal stage inspection.
Quality Assurance Engineer – The Person
We are looking for individuals who have in depth knowledge of metallic manufacture and process with a thorough knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Quality Assurance Processes suited to lean/agile production of low-volume, short lead-time precision parts. Candidates with a thorough knowledge of inspection, metrology and NDT techniques and terminology will be a distinct advantage.
Candidates must be well organised, with a high attention to detail with a track record of influencing positive change at all levels of engineering, manufacturing and the supply chain.
