Performance Friction is a racing and high performance disc brake manufacturer and a leading researcher and innovator in disc brake technology with an immediate need for an experienced Purchasing Manager in the Charlotte, NC area.
- BS Degree and 5 + years of experience required.
- Seeking aggressive, hands-on, results-oriented professional.
- Must be a detail oriented self-starter with excellent leadership skills.
- Strong PC skills required.
- Understanding of TS 16949 required.
- Automotive manufacturing experience required.
- Must possess strong sense of urgency in working short timelines.
- Must possess strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Collaborative planning experience.
- Strong engineering acumen including ability to read prints
- Manufacturing Quality Experience.
- Experience in SAP MM & MRP a plus.
- Fast paced position for someone who wants to make a difference.
- Vendor sourcing, negotiation, evaluation and contract analysis
- Extensive experience required with casting, forging, stamping, machining and coating methods.
