Prototype Test Engineer

Job Description

Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex application functions in the within Garrett Advancing Motion organization. You will participate in the development and certification of product functionality across multiple  programs.  This will enable you to support new products, processes, standards or operational plans within the organization's business strategies, with a direct impact on business unit/function overall results.

YOU MUST HAVE: 
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related engineering
▪ Physics measurement and materials knowledge
▪ Effective English Communication Skills
▪ Turbocharger Assembly processes knowledge
▪ Lab Testing processes and methodologies knowledge
▪ Experience with measurement tools

WE VALUE: 
▪  Some experience in testing support and/or proto support
▪ Practical experience working with engineering equipment
▪ Effective solutions on root causes and six sigma procedures experience
▪ Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively and communicate with other individuals in a team project setting.
▪ Self-motivated and able to work with less supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
▪ Ability to make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, dynamic attitude and flexibility to follow multiple tasks and requirements.
