5x Championship-winning prototype team CORE autosport is in search of a mechanic. Position can be full-time or contract basis. We are in Rock Hill, South Carolina, 20 minutes south of Charlotte, North Carolina. Applicants MUST be legally eligible to work and reside in the U.S.
Mechanic responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of our LMP3 race car to IMSA rules including assembly and disassembly, tracking parts’ wear life, system checks and troubleshooting
- Over the wall pit stop duties
- Travel to all IMSA races and tests
- Assist in the loading and unloading of team transporter as well as paddock and pitlane setup
Requirements:
- Must have 5+ years of prior racing experience
- Must present a professional attitude with IMSA and supplier staff
- Able to travel to Canada
- Proactive and organized with an attention to detail
- Problem solver with great communication skills
- Carbon repair skills a plus
