Alpine F1 Team have an opportunity for a talented individual to join the team within our purchasing department as a Proprietary Buyer.
Proprietary Buyer – The Role
The Proprietary Buyer is responsible for the procurement of proprietary and engineered components, assemblies and materials required by the company. You will ensure we have adequate sources to maintain continuous supply of high-quality products and services within budget and on time engaging with all internal customers and stakeholders and manage the commercial position of all requirements to point of delivery.
This is a key position within the business to ensure the creation and deployment of best practice procurement appropriate to the business.
Proprietary Buyer – The Person
The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge and experience of best practice purchasing of engineered technical and Proprietary components (CIPS qualification preferred). You will possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal are a must and the ability to work under pressure, alone, or as part of a team is essential along with a flexible approach to working hours. A can-do attitude will be essential.
