ZF Race Engineering provides its customers with a complete engineering service from product development through to product validation and low volume product supply. The business is undergoing a period of rapid growth and is seeking to recruit an experienced and well-qualified Project Manager to manage the delivery of a range of engineering development and product supply projects.
Your tasks:
- Ensure that the project deliverables are achieved to time, cost and quality targets using best practice project management techniques
- Escalate issues as appropriate and implement recovery plans where necessary
- Coordinate necessary project administration activities and ensure that relevant business managers are aware of the project, its status, and issues arising
- Ensure that the required project documentation is produced, that reviews are undertaken and that approvals are obtained at each stage of the Project
- Monitor and manage project changes as well as internal and external supplier relationships
Your profile:
- Successfully completed degree in an engineering or technical discipline
- Several years of experience of working in an automotive engineering environment and experience of leading multidisciplinary project teams
- Knowledge of engineering systems design and product development lifecycles
- Professional project management qualification (e.g. CAPM/PMP/APMP), high proficiency in the use of MS Project and familiarity with CA PPM (‘Clarity’) or a similar project management tool
- Excellent team leadership, relationship-building and communication skills
