General Description

  • The project engineer will be part of the Control & Safety department in ABB Norway.
  • Based on ABB´s huge product range, we offer integrated solutions where all functions for process control, safety and information are gathered in one system. Our goal is to reduce the distance between process and control rooms, and to make fast, flexible and efficient process plants.
  • ABB has long traditions as a supplier to the offshore industry as well as the landbased industry in Norway.
  • We seek a project engineer who is goal-oriented, cooperative, team-focused, and able to work independently.
  • The project engineer will be involved in sales support, planning, implementation, commissioning and monitoring of automation solutions in our projects.

Job responsibilities

  • Engineering of automation solutions for offshore and land-based industry projects on ABB control systems 800xA
  • Participate in installation and commissioning
  • Install and setup of IT-infrastructure for automation systems

Your qualifications

  • College/University degree (Bachelor/ Master level) or equivalent in automation or electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of ABB control systems is an advantage
  • Relevant work experience is desirable but newly graduated students are encouraged to apply
  • Fluent Norwegian and English, written and spoken
  • Initiative, interpersonal skills and efficiency
  • Ability to work independently, structured, and systematically
  • Flexibility, and a wish to undertake responsibility
  • Professional ambitions and a wish to undertake challenges
