Project Engineer

The position:

Williams Racing is investing in its planning and project management capability and we’re excited to announce an additional project management role that will be critical to the success of our future F1 car programmes.

Position:

We are seeking a high potential Project Engineer to join our F1 Planning team. If you are passionate about engineering and have an innate ability to plan, coordinate and deliver projects by working with a broad cross-functional team, then we would be interested to hear from you.

Role purpose:

Our F1 operation is built around delivering a series of complex projects to quality, time and budget. Projects range from race specific developments to full car programmes, involving input from a wide range of business functions. The Project Engineer role is to develop deliverable end-to-end plans for a group of assemblies, work with each function to maintain the current progress status, flag issues and support with problem solving.

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent academic background with a degree in engineering / science / maths or similar
  • 2+ years working in an engineering or manufacturing business
  • Interest for (and ideally experience in) project management
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills including use of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and nurture a diverse range of working relationships
