Project Coordinator

Group Lotus is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Project team based in Hethel, Norfolk.  This is a customer facing role tendering for business from clients worldwide promoting Lotus Engineering.  The successful candidate will be at the forefront of delivering bids and proposals, supporting sales in delivering new bids and working closing with our Project teams on planning and proposal creations.

Main duties:

  • Prepare written proposals for Lotus Engineering potentially winning business from clients worldwide
  • Ensure the quality of the proposals is developed and maintained to a high professional standard
  • Ensure consistency in application of commercial and contractual terms within proposals
  • Support sales in process of developing new bids and winning purchase orders
  • Working more closely with the PMO and Engineering teams on planning and proposal creation
  • Administer CRM tool, raising and tracking opportunities through the proposal process
  • Working within the Lotus CRM tools to develop customer relationships models and strategies
  • Record and track opportunities and client information using CRM system
  • Produce reports detailing the status of opportunities
  • Support capture meetings and the decision process for new opportunities
  • Compile, develop and complete activity and resource plans in MS Project and IFS to support project cost estimating
  • Compile proposals, either from “clean sheet of paper” or by editing inputs from technical groups ensuring their consistency with each other, the plan, and the overriding requirements of the proposal
  • Ensuring that the standard of text and graphics employed is at an appropriately high standard
  • Ensuring that the proposal assumptions, term and conditions and other commercial/ financial aspects are consistent with prevailing company policy and with other communication with the client
  • Maintaining “boiler plate” material for proposals
  • Ensure that sales process is followed and drive proposals through the approval process
