As part of our specialised tooling team, you’ll join a fast-paced, innovative, high tech environment, where you’ll focus on all aspects of programming and manufacture of high quality carbon inserts and Rohacell cores for our F1 cars.
You'll be using CAD data to manufacture the carbon inserts and Rohacell cores, sourcing the raw materials from stock, and programming and operating 3-Axis & 5-Axis machines.
It doesn't matter if you are a very experienced programmer or have recently completed a relevant apprenticeship. What matters is a solid understanding of all types of pattern work and a proactive approach to work.
With regards to programmes, you'll need experience with either Delcam Powershape or HyperMill in the design and modelling of machine fixtures and cradles for component manufacture, and to produce complex machine tool paths on the 3-Axis & 5-Axis machines. Knowledge of Siemens, Osis and Heidenhain control systems are also valuable.
A strong and organised team player, you’re able to communicate effectively and take ownership of all aspects of pattern prep. You're someone who identifies and solves problems using your own initiative, and achieving a successful outcome is what motivates you.
