Lifeline Fire & Safety Systems Ltd are the leading manufacturer of on board fire suppression systems and safety products for the Motorsport and defense sectors.
Due to expansion we are looking for a production support engineer to generate and maintain our build procedures and build of materials.
The successful applicant will have a good engineering back ground and be able to demonstrate an ability to construct technical manuals and build procedures for workshop technicians and customers to understand. In addition you will also be responsible for maintaining all of the bill of materials for all of our products ensuring they are up to date and accurate.
The successful applicant will be able to
- Generate accurate and easy to understand technical manuals using CAD and photographic illustrations
- Construct Bill of materials on Sage (training given on Sage)
- Maintain and update Bill of Materials
- Ensure drawings from the technical department are up to date and allocated to production, quality and the supply chain.
- Assist the production department to drive efficiencies
- Ensure new products have full documentation before production.
