Production Scheduler

SHAPE is looking for a Manufacturing Scheduler to join our Team and lead the manufacturing resource planning operations of the business as the company grows to the next level. You will enjoy working in a modern manufacturing environment, setting and working to tight deadlines and guiding a skilled and motivated team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report directly to the Operations Manager
  • Set the pace of the manufacturing operations of the business
  • Schedule and plan work flow to meet delivery schedules
  • Ensure manufacturing targets are achieved
  • Organise machines, resources and people to achieve efficient manufacturing workflow
  • Maintain all department manufacturing reports are up to date and accurate
  • At all times work to and report back against published Schedules and targets
  • At all times promote and encourage a positive working environment with a can do attitude
  • Liaise directly with other departments to maintain on delivery schedules

ABOUT YOU

We expect you to have:

  • Experience in manufacturing scheduling and production systems
  • An attention to detail and data driven analytical approach to your work
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • A good ability to use your initiative and respond quickly to problems
  • A desire to constantly improve and set high working standards

We’re impressed if you have:

  • Knowledge of data analysis, project management and business reporting software
  • Knowledge of MRP, ERP or production optimising software packages.

LOCATION
Our office and manufacturing site are based in Witney, which is 10 miles West of Oxford City and has good public transport links, parking and access to local amenities. From time to time you may need to travel within the UK and Mainland Europe to visit our customers and suppliers.
