Job Description
The RB17 – Red Bulls revolutionary Hypercar is coming to life.
Red Bull Advanced Technologies is looking for an expert Autodesk Alias Modeller with extensive experience within the automotive industry. In this role you will be leading the exterior and interior A-Class surface modelling of the RB17 and contributing to other avant-garde projects within the Red Bull Advanced Technologies portfolio.
Working within the aerodynamics group under direction from both aerodynamicists and vehicle design creatives you will work alongside our existing surfacing team to create uniquely informed, highly technical, and emotive exterior surfaces. You will need to have a highly developed aesthetic sensibility, work from minimal direction, a strong work ethic, great interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire those who work around you.
To fulfil this position the following attributes are required:
- Extensive experience as an ALIAS Modeller preferably within a leading design studio
- Must have experience in Concept Modelling
- Must have experience in Automotive modelling
- Highly developed sense of form
- The ability to produce fast and accurate Digital Surface Models
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing parameters
- An organised and methodical approach to work
