You will be responsible for providing aerodynamic performance to the racecar by defining and developing concepts and by setting and achieving aerodynamic targets. The role will involve managing the Aerodynamic Development Team Leaders to ensure their groups work effectively to deliver consistent aerodynamic solutions across the whole racecar. You will also be expected to identify deficiencies in our development tools and processes and drive their continual improvement.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive experience of F1 Aerodynamic Development at team leader level or above
- A proven track record of delivering aerodynamic solutions across the entire car
- A thorough understanding of all tools and techniques associated with aerodynamic development
- Substantial knowledge of factors affecting overall car performance
- Experience of the practical aspects of implementing aerodynamic designs into the racecar.
- Exceptional communication, organisational and leadership skills
- Creativity and innovation
