Press Office Executive

About The Role

The people who work off-track are as important to Formula 1 as those behind the wheel. As a Press Office Executive, supporting the Communications team in devising and delivering successful communications outcomes for F1 and the wider sport, you could be one of them!

You will:

  • Work closely with our communications agency to deliver the best results and target media for the business
  • Use your own experience to create media opportunities and develop relationships with the media (corporate, consumer, sport) to enhance the reach and awareness of F1
  • Draft and proof communications materials including press release, daily media report, media briefings, journalist information packs and content for F1’s corporate social channels and website
  • Provide the communications team with support at race and non-race events, including managing media invites, escorting media to and from opportunities, organising accreditation and event access

About You

With your experience working in a fast-paced inhouse communications team, you are confident at dealing with senior executives and explaining communication techniques to them.

Experience:

  • Experience of working closely with written media and broadcasters in both a reactive and proactive fashion
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Creative ability to devise communication strategies that will deliver results in the media and across our digital platforms
  • Experienced in using major social media channels (twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) essential
  • Strong speaking skills to speak on behalf of F1 to the media, the teams and to brief executives
