PR and Marketing Executive

PitBox91 is on the lookout for a talented PR and marketing specialist with a passion for all things automotive to join our team.

About us

PitBox91 delivers high-quality PR, social media and event management services to automotive and motorsport companies of all sizes. We promote clients ranging from small start-ups to large international brands, communicating the benefits of vehicles, automotive components and technologies across the car, truck and motorcycle sectors, both on and off the race track. We’re petrolheads, and our passion is central to the services we provide to our clients.

Primary responsibilities

 The successful applicant will:

  1. Plan and create content for press releases, client presentations, social media and video, drawing on topic knowledge and an understanding of clients’ needs and audiences.

  2. Write press releases and race reports to a very high standard and in a timely manner for time-sensitive content.

  3. Monitor and evaluate press coverage, social media statistics and other KPIs to take learnings for project improvement and to produce reports.

  4. Assist with managing events.

  5. Develop the business by delivering excellence for our loyal clients as well as seeking new opportunities and sales leads to win new business.

  6. Have the ability to make a rapid progression to a client management role. 

Essential requirements, experience and qualities:

  1. Be able to write captivating copy for both PR and social media.

  2. Show a deep understanding of trends in the automotive industry, media and digital worlds.

  3. Having an interest in all areas of automotive and transport, from motorcycles, cars and trucks to the future of mobility.

  4. Be able to work both independently and in a team, working with and reporting to colleagues, creative partners and clients.

  5. Be versatile and flexible. Tasks will vary, hours are flexible, and the successful applicant will be expected to work weekends.

  6. Be based in the United Kingdom. The role is home-based, but travel to weekly team meetings in the Midlands area, client meetings and events is necessary. The successful applicant should have their own vehicle and a full driving/riding licence.

  7. Graphic design and video editing capabilities are an advantage, but not essential.

 

The package
