Porsche Experienced Auto Mechanic/Motorsport Technician

We have up to 3 open spots hiring on a rolling basis for a Porsche specializing Automotive/Motorsport technician to work in-house at our, fast growing, independent Porsche performance and racing shop.

Summary:

You will be responsible for street and race car diagnostics, repair, scheduled maintenance, and performance upgrades in an efficient and highly competent manner. Candidate must be comfortable working on large restoration projects of air-cooled Porsches, basic maintenance jobs on street Porsches, race car conversion builds to factory race cars, GT3 Cup, GT3 R, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3 - 4 years minimum Porsche technician experience working on all Porsche from air-cooled to water-cooled models.
  • Must have strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have a strong understanding of fuel injection systems and controls.
  • Must have excellent troubleshooting skills in hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrain and suspension systems.
  • Must have excellent racing suspension repair, componentry, and racing alignment/setup
  • Motorsport level electrical experience.
  • Experience with OE & racing engine repair and setup.
  • Experience with OE & racing transmission repair.
  • Available to work full time, and willing to work overtime when necessary.
  • Must have basic computer and internet skills.
  • Ability to work as part of the team.
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Willingness to adapt and learn as situations occur.
