Planning Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Update planning systems - material and inventory master data
  • Manage safety stocks per SKU
  • Manage substitution
  • Stock Reservation Management;
  • Inventory Planning & Analysis;
  • Identify & report excess stocks and obsolete stocks;

  • Stock offers and other customer campaigns (provide info, analyze) based on stock in the region;

  • Manage the inventory targets (incl. safety stocks level, stock build up..) as indicated by CIS supply planning manager and regional management;

  • Manage stock profiles for substitutions & NPI's;

  • Calculate seasonal effects ;

  • Give input to and on request participate and contribute to the Regional S&OP process;
  • initiate and lead actions to solve issues and improve process;
  • Manage Deployment Plan (plan and optimize the replenishment (deployment) of finished goods inventory from/to assigned locations(MDC) in the region to ensure availability for sales - acting on proactively identified exceptions);
  • Analyze deployment dashboard & conflicts-as input to perform potential logistics demand changes;

  • Understand the warehouse/transportation/loading constraints;

  • Verify fair share deployment versus customer orders/desired stock availability and manage customer priorities with customer service for shortage items;

  • Pro-actively report SKU availability issues to planning manager, sales and customer service and propose countermeasures

  • Improve customer satisfaction by providing visibility/reliability in SKU availability;

  • Import planning:plan and optimize the import planning of finished goods from other regions ( Europe and Japan). Derive the net requirements from demand and stock;

  • Understand the sales forecast and based on inventory targets plan the import orders for the coming months;

  • Place the import orders after review with the supply planning manager;

  • Follow up orders, containers and unloading plan;

  • Direct shipments: analyze sales orders for potential direct shipments from import to customer, from RDC to customer, from MDC to customer, perform availability check for direct shipments;

  • Backorder Follow-Up:report & analyze back order situation and propose actions to sales (substitution, order cancellation), decide on re-balance SKU's between regional distribution centers, manage the rebalance transactions ;

  • Production planning :plan weekly the production planning for the coming 6 months (SKU /BMCIS/week) based on the net requirements from the distribution plan, make the production plan for the coming 6 months in week buckets with respect of the minimum lot sizing and check the capacity availability , align with schedulers on the other constraints;

Requirments

  • 2-5 years Supply Chain planning experience
  • Knowledge of demand management
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and policies
  • Strong knowledge of production planning
  • Detail oriented and accurate
  • Good communicator and ability to write in concise way
  • Customer care driven
  • Fluent English
  • Excel, SAP advanced user
