What you'll do

- Responsible for taking Silicon Photonics wafer and develop/deliver chip level packaging and assembly product from NPI to volume manufacturing release and optimize qualified optical packaging assembly processes, make decisions on creative changes to improve yields and product quality
- Drive the characterization of product performances and yield including benchmark correlation to meet and/or exceed product cost targets while leading Engineering and Technology & Quality teams to drive DFx for optical packaging design and assembly
- Create designed experiments to map device performance while working with Design & Test Engineering teams to stabilize and improve product screening at wafer-probe and package level testing
- Interact with suppliers and optimize designs based on supplier's processes and capabilities
- Lead/support developing assembly and test method to validate the design and define inspection and validation methods for optical component and systems’ performance
