COMPANY DESCRIPTION
High performance leader Accessible Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of ProCharger SuperCharger Systems is seeking a full-time ProCharger Automotive Service/Phone Technician with strong phone skills, strong automotive knowledge, and an understanding of high performance motorsports.
The primary job function of these positions is to answer calls from customers and assist them in answering their questions and resolving technical issues promptly via the telephone. This position requires the ability and endurance to answer phone calls all day long while maintaining good interpersonal skills for responding to inquiries with excellent telephone manners.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- As part of the automotive technical service team you will also assist engineers with the development of new automotive products, perform installations on beta applications and assist with maintenance of the company owned fleet of performance vehicles
- This position has involvement with many areas of the company and heavily supports engineering, sales and marketing teams
- Assuring the automotive technical service and sales support phone center is properly staffed and that our dealers and customers receive world-class service
- Limited travel while attending trade shows and exhibiting at automotive events and drag races, except for Racing/Motorsports Coordinator position which requires a moderate amount of travel
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- Strong automotive knowledge
- Multi-line and/or call center experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to listen, understand and explain technical information
- Experience and proven strengths in troubleshooting technical products (mechanical & electrical) on the telephone and in person
- Understanding and/or passion for high performance and motorsports preferred
- Hands on automotive performance experience
- Proven track record of providing superior customer service
- Computer and internet experience
- Enthusiasm for teamwork, customers and forming professional relationships
