Job Description
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, based in Hilliard, Ohio and co-owned by three-time IndyCar Champion and 1986 Indianapolis 500 winner Bobby Rahal, former CBS Late Show host David Letterman and Mi-Jack co-owner Mike Lanigan, is looking for Performance Engineers to join our Championship winning team. Competing with the BMW M8 GTE in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship and reporting to the Technical Director the successful candidate will be a part of the track engineering group traveling to each event.
Using excellent problem solving and analytical skills, you will have the confidence and communication skills to explain and sell performance solutions to team members collaborating for mutual success. Additionally the highly motivated candidate possesses the ability to thrive in a fast paced time critical environment.
Duties and responsibilities
- Performance analysis and reporting
- Vehicle dynamics and aerodynamic support
- Race strategy analysis
- Development of internal tools and processes
Requirements
- Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering Degree or similar qualifications
- 3 years of experience of professional motorsport
