Aston Martin Formula One Team are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to support the HR Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing an accurate and people-focussed payroll service working with the Chief People Officer and Financial Controller.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Preparing accurate monthly payrolls for the Team and associated entities adhering to deadlines
  • To liaise with the HR Team and Finance Team to ensure all basic data including new starters, leavers, contractual changes, expenses, bonus payments and pension changes are processed in line with payroll cut off dates
  • To establish and maintain good communications with all areas of the business and its employees ensuring service levels are maintained and an excellent service is provided at all times
  • To respond to, investigate and resolve employee queries
  • To complete data accuracy checks in relation to payroll, pension and associated payroll benefits
  • To build and retain strong relationships with the company’s outsourced payroll providers and pension provider
  • To maintain an up to date and good practical working knowledge of Payroll legislation, changes and enhancements
  • To ensure the HR system and data capture mechanisms reflect pay and benefits accurately
  • To be proactive in contacting other areas of the business to improve service levels, remedy persistent reoccurring issues or problems and to eliminate payroll errors

 

About you:

 

  • Minimum of 2 years working within payroll
  • Experience of processing multiple payrolls
  • Excellent level of up-to-date payroll and pensions legislation, including HMRC requirements
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, varied and demanding environment
  • Excellent communicator and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • IT literate
