Responsibilities
- Propose, plan and execute new research projects related to Vehicle Safety. Identify potential opportunities for new R&D projects World-wide.
- Manage, develop and support R&D activities for internal projects related to laboratory improvements and creation of new products/services.
- Involvement in research projects with global automotive manufacturers.
- Design, draft and execute project proposals related to Passive Safety. Usually in European consortiums constituted by different companies, universities and governmental entities to achieve objectives set by the European Commission.
- Publication of project results in international conferences. Production and Presentation of papers World-wide. Collect and analyze test data.
- Organize and manage the test plan for R&D Projects.
- Encourage innovation activities amongst the Passive Safety Team.
- Work alongside other technical departments.
