Engaged in exciting and aggressive turnkey motorsport and track based programmes we are looking for a Parts Co-Ordinator to join the team in this ambitious and growing high performance engineering business. We are looking for someone with a “can do” attitude and strong lateral thinking skills, who is excited by the engineering process and can apply their skills to a variety of diverse projects using their initiative and knowledge.

Person Specification: Core competencies and experience.

Reporting to the Build Manager you will work as part of a team on this complete vehicle programme. The programme requires an experienced parts coordinator, specifically with relatable experience to small team vehicle development programmes. We are interested to hear from applicants who can demonstrate fundamental understanding and experience in the following vehicle areas –

  • Parts coordination of bespoke full vehicle programmes
  • Knowledge of vehicle build processes
  • Experience with vehicle cell production
  • Knowledge of component route processing through an engineering business
  • Firm understanding of ERP system compliance and operation
  • Integral role experience between engineering and vehicle build

All component, system and departmental requirements/developments are to be in collaboration with programme, engineering quality, and build functions. Accuracy, time management and adherence to deadlines are key to achieving success within the business.

You will be communicating with engineering, build and management. As a result, you will also need to demonstrate effective communication skills.

The role would appeal to someone who works to improve, implement, or develop the best solution for the project, adaptable to team requirements and is able to work independently whilst communicating with the wider team.

All applicants are required to have;

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Confident use of MS-Office applications
  • Extensive use of Factory Master ERP or similar
  • Acute knowledge of the vehicle BOM
  • Shortage expediting
  • Ability to read and source engineering requirements from technical drawings
  • Ability to liaise with cross functioning departments
  • Control own work to time and work within budgetary requirements / constraints
    • Maintain project status and reporting to senior management
    • Proven skills in detailed analysis and problem solving from first principles
    • Follow, create, and disseminate good working practises and processes
    • Thrive operating in small team environments
    • Able to positively contribute to developing processes based on changing project requirements
