Part Time Credential Specialist

NASCAR is seeking talented professionals to join our team as a Part Time Credential Specialist.

This position is responsible for credentialing guests at various racing events throughout the racing season for the national series.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to.

  • Travel to various events.
  • Assists with set up for the credentials office for each event.
  • Verifies identification and issues credentials to guests of the teams and the company’s sponsors.
  • Check in NASCAR licensed members and verify status.
  • Investigates and resolves when able issues with guests not included on a guest list.
  • Balances cash and credit at the end of each day open for business.
  • Works all three national series.
  • Approximate travel 100%, including weekends.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

NASCAR License.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Customer service, people skills, act as a representative of the Company.
