Purpose of the Role:

As a professional driver, you will fulfil delivery and collection requirements, co-ordinated by the Transport department, fully supporting the logistical needs of the McLaren Group.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Delivering and / or collecting parts and materials within the UK and Europe.
  • Extensive travel and periods away from home.
  • This may include evening and weekend working.
  • Carrying out VIP driving duties, and any other driving related duties.
  • Ensuring allocated vehicles are kept tidy and in a safe roadworthy condition.
  • Carrying out daily checks of oil, fuel, water etc.
  • Valeting company vehicles when requested to McLaren standards.
  • Other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • You will need to be in possession of a current C1+E, (Class1), licence and in possession of digital Tachograph card.
  • All drivers to be in possession of a current passport with a minimum 6 months remaining.
  • Experience of European driving an advantage.
  • Experience of driving left hand drive vehicles an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive rules.
