Are you an NX 9 Design Engineer looking to join a leading automotive manufacturer? Do you have a passion for designing and developing specialist vehicles?
We are recruiting on behalf of a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of transmission systems for an NX 9 Designer to work within their engineering team. Based in the UK, this NX 9 Designer role will be on a permanent basis.
As a global leader in automotive vehicle development and production, within the role of NX 9 Designer you will primarily be responsible for:
• Working as part of an engineering team - utilising skills of Gear technology, Shop floor and Production.
• The design and detail of engineering components and complete systems.
• Liaising with Shop floor on any queries and non-conformance issues
• Creating and issuing Engineering drawings to required standard.
• CAD modelling and drafting on Unigraphics NX to company standards. To be considered for the role of NX 9 Designer, you will ideally have the following: Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of BEng or BSc (or similar), ideally in an engineering or aeronautical discipline
• Knowledge of Automotive or Motorsport ideally but not essential
• Transmission or Gear experience
• Experience within a multi-disciplined environment, ideally around a design function (could encompass production and design disciplines)
• Highly competent in Unigraphics NX 9 or other CAD packages could be consider with trainng.
