NEV Engineer – Battery system

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Provide fast reaction for After sales field issues on NEV vehicles in UK and European markets
  • Support NEV development activities for EU products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulate product after-sales strategy plan before product launch.
  • To timely track the market situation of new energy products' electric drive system market problems, and to diagnose and analyse on-site support problems as needed.
  • Coordinate and mobilize resources to respond to market issues and meet customer needs in a timely manner with TAC, Quality Assurance, Supplier, & Engineering.
  • Carry out systematic analysis and investigation of problem vehicle and return problem parts or assembly, and propose improvement measures and suggestions.
  • Advance, track, and sort out the state of statistical problems and implementation of problem measures in a timely manner, and promote the implementation of relevant work.
  • Carry out related tools and capacity building, and write engineering after-sales technical documents or document.
  • Promote the recovery of the value of parts, components and assemblies, and the recycling economy of value, and contribute to the reduction of IPTV and CPV.
  • Prioritise workload to ensure the requirements of the NPI (New Product Introduction) process are achieved; ensure that work is conducted in the most efficient manner, avoiding duplication.
  • Work within time and budget constraints but achieve the necessary quality targets.
  • Provide Senior Managers with status reports.
  • Work within an ISO9001 framework.
  • Identify and instigating new ways of working.

SCOPE OF THE JOB

  • Responsible for providing NEV related After-sales field support for MG relating to Battery system  in UK & European markets.
