NASCAR Track Support Representative

Engineering firm is seeking a Track Support Representative to provide on-site support for Pratt & Miller software tools and to execute technology initiatives at NASCAR races. Support will focus on proprietary data management and engineering toolsets built upon .Net technology with Microsoft SQL Server databases.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidate will be the sole trackside contact for all Pratt & Miller software tools at NASCAR race events and will be responsible for providing IT and technology support for trackside technology initiatives. Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide on-site technical and user support for all Pratt & Miller software tools at NASCAR Sprint Cup races (30-38 events per year); also provide limited support for supported Truck and Nationwide teams at companion events

Work with remote administrators to coordinate and assist with more complex issues, such as SQL database connectivity and replication problems

Actively monitor health and performance of client databases using proprietary toolsets

Provide support or assistance for other devices and toolsets which interact with PME software

Report technical issues and user feedback to Pratt & Miller software development staff

Implement and support technology-driven projects for communication, data dissemination, and competitive evaluation initiatives

Manage and maintain all technology systems on the trackside support trailer (networking, PCs, internet, satellite), with support of PME IT staff

Receive regular training and updates on Pratt & Miller software toolsets utilized in the NASCAR program
