Motorsport Games is a global team. Our HQ is based in sunny Miami, Florida and hosts the Digital Marketing and Product Development teams. The 704 Games team, based in nearby Orlando, work on our NASCAR games franchise. In Moscow, Russia, we have a first-class development operation delivering the very latest technology for our future products as well as additional development and esports operations based in England. Our UK office is just metres away from the main entrance to the home of British motorsport at Silverstone Circuit.

Motorsport Games is currently building a team in the UK to lead development on its new and highly ambitious racing games. We are looking to grow a relatively small, tight-knit team, capable of delivering big ideas through experience, smart process, and world-class tools.

We are looking for a Producer to join our growing team. They will work alongside the Executive Producer to lead teams creating gameplay experiences that match the game vision. A Producer is a driver of the team, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to decide on goals and align on the priority of work.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track-record of project management & creative production, ideally including titles on iOS/Android and/or Nintendo Switch. That said, if you have good experience of production and are looking to step up to the role we'd love to hear from you too.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the happiness and productivity of the team.
  • Creative problem solving on a daily basis.
  • Work with the stakeholders to understand the vision for the game and business objectives and ensure that it meets the needs of the audience and business.
  • Leads and inspires their team to deliver the game on time, in budget and at quality.
  • Regularly reviews software with the team in order to ensure that the game is meeting its goals.
  • Engage with internal and external partners to provide feedback on marketing, analytics and outsourcing plans.
  • Identify dependencies and risks to the project and works with the leadership team to resolve them.
  • Create thoroughly researched schedules, roadmaps and other plans.
  • Become the expert on the product, audience and data supporting the game vision.

Requirements

  • Five or more years in a production role (eg project manager or producer) in a software development capacity.
  • Shipped products on iOS/Android and/or Nintendo Switch.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in developing roadmaps and project/milestone/sprint goals.
  • Experience in creating user stories and deliverables.
  • Understanding of a variety of project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • Experience working with multiple external developers from around the world a bonus.
  • Comfortable presenting to and discussing plans with company leadership.

Bonus experience:

  • At least 1 game shipped with Unity or Unreal
  • Worked on racing games
  • Interest or knowledge of motorsport
  • Avid player of racing games on mobile and/or other platforms
  • Experience working with licenses / brands with exacting requirements
  • Experience working on multiplayer games
  • Familiar with the ins & outs of Apple & Android platform features (device notch, app store screenshot guidelines, review prompts, etc)
  • Familiar working with version control systems such as GIT & Perforce
