We currently have an opportunity for a Miller to join our world-leading automotive manufacturing client, to play a crucial role within their Milling Department and be an essential part of the rapid growth of the business as they work to strengthen their brand within the next generation of high-performance hybrid and electric cars.
Responsible for setting, operating and running milling centres to produce transmission components to the company quality standards, in this exciting positon you will be programming and editing functions to produce high quality components to drawing specifications.
The successful candidate will liaise with engineers/machinists to manufacture fixtures and devices, carrying out day to day maintenance of machines.
Candidates must have
- Previous programming in CNC milling with Tooling experience in the Automotive/Motorsport industry
- Knowledge of; Unigraphics, Fanuc and Yasnac Controls and ideally Matsuura and Hitachi machines
- Basic engineering training or completed an apprenticeship
- Able to understand engineering drawings
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, pressured environment
