Responsibilities:
- Manage Technical Support and Training team members and the activities.
- Track lost sales opportunities
- Provide monthly activity summary to product team and management
- Identify missing product and content applications
- Develop, plan, organize, and control product training program on a local and national level.
- Budget management
- Technical industry face of NGK and NTK
- Manage claim process including warranty, labor, damage and counterfeit
- Produce and publish technical articles for all types customers.
- Maintain a library of technical article for both NGK and competitors.
- Develop and maintain training presentation library for all products.
- Maximize NGK’s exposure in key markets and industries.
- Attend key events to develop new avenues for NGK, while ensuring sponsorships are fulfilling their obligations.
- Analyze damage & labor claim and report back to the customers.
- Back-up Tech Support hotline as needed.
- Perform job-related travel as necessary.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including TS16949 and ISO14000 related policies as applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Automotive Technology/Engineering or similar field preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in replacement parts and Aftermarket
Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience
Extensive understanding of product training, product knowledge and automotive aftermarket landscape - Superior understanding and knowledge of all motorsports activities and industries
ASE Certification
Excellent presentation/training skill and interpersonal skills - Strong oral and writing communication skills in English
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing at least the minimum essential functions of the job required
- Strong computer skills and acumen
- Proficiency in MS Office product
- Ability to travel up to 50%
