Fibreworks Composites was founded in 2009 and is privately owned by Guenther Steiner and Joe Hofmann. In 2019 Joe and Guenther decided to launch an AS9100 / ISO certified sister company called Composite Factory. Composite Factory’s primary focus is to diversify our business into Aerospace, Aero structures, Aviation and Defense, and the Medical industries that require a higher level of traceability and certification. Our core mission is to exceed our customers' needs by embracing challenges that surpass the capabilities of our competitors.

Job Summary:
Oversee individuals responsible for programming and operating CNC machines for metal machining.
Job Role:
- Work in conjunction with CNC Programmer to utilize CAM software to produce programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency while meeting GD&T requirements
- Utilize program verification and crash protection software to mitigate machine incidents
- Utilize drawings or CAD models to support program development
- Create, document, and back-up all programs
- Create and maintain set-up sheets and tool lists for projects as required kept in the Mastercam Files
- Collaborate with appropriate engineering personnel to improve the quality and efficiencies of finished parts, patterns, moulds, fixturing, etc.
- Training and Mentorship of new hire/current operators and other staff
- Prioritize programming to scheduled demands
- Assist the Manager in the tracking of production work on the shop floor
- Coordinate bonding of upcoming or current jobs
- Record time and materials to Work Orders, including GSS daily balancing
- Feed stock and tool inventory levels to Machining Department Manager
- Responsible for adhering to company policies and procedures
- Continually view and suggest improvements to processes
- Monitor and Maintain equipment
- Must adhere to health and safety procedures and all workplace policies
- Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- High School/GED diploma or vocational school equivalent required
- 10+ years of machining experience
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Mould-making experience a plus
- Mastercam experience a plus
- Have excellent math and mechanical skills/aptitude
- The ability and desire to do precision work
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to learn to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
- Good computer skills (MS Office Suite)
- Certified Forklift Operator experience a plus
- Exemplary attendance
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Must be able to follow written instructions from Work Instruction Sheets
- Needs to have a strong appreciation of the importance of completing tasks on time
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and completing demands
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record

Exempt, full time
Regular Hours of Work:
Normal Business Hours 7:00AM – 4:00PM, Mon-Fri; Weekends, Holidays and work hours as scheduled by Management.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Combination of indoor and outdoor activities with varying conditions
- Requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- May involve operating material handling equipment in a safe manner
- Work may include exposure to variable noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc., requiring personal protective equipment
- Some positions may require working with small parts/components, necessitating excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
