Job Description:

NASCAR Media Ventures seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Media Specialist III based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.

This person will be responsible for content ingestion and file distribution to clients and executives. Also responsible for facilitating video streaming delivery for both live and video-on-demand.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and fulfill ingest and distribution requests from outside clients and internal executives
  • Act as shift-lead when required
  • Training and delegating work to other staff members
  • Facilitate requests from Competition and Research & Development departments
  • Live Streaming for various company entities
  • Maintain a knowledge of current and legacy video formats
  • Build and test transcoding profiles and provide workflow pointers for the Production Technology department
  • Keep the Production Network operational and maintained
  • Create workflow documentation as technologies evolve
  • Update internal Sharepoint portal
  • Perform CDN configuration updates as requested

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in information technology or similar computer support.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and NLE operations.
  • Experience with Apple and Mac OS including Adobe Premier Pro Creative Cloud
  • Adobe Photoshop, After Affects and HTML is a plus
  • CMS experience is beneficial
  • Well organized with the ability to work with flexible and shifting priorities
  • Ability to carry out duties with little direct supervision
  • Attention to detail
  • Familiarity with principals of web streaming and CDN delivery
  • AWS Console experience
  • Knowledge of web analytics
  • Proficient in project management framework
