Role Responsibilities:
- Accurately conduct measuring tasks and record results
- Work the minimal supervision
- Liaise with Engineers as required
- Participate as a team member in problem solving and investigations
- Produce detailed reports relating to measured results
- Measure components on Faro arm to drawing/CAD specifications
- To be able to use a range of Metrology equipment and processes on machined, fabricated and mould components as follows;-
- CMM, Faro arm, micrometers, bore gauges, profile projector, talysurf, talyrond, callipers, height gauges, hardness testing and tensile test machine, also crack detection and sample preparation for material analysis
