Mechanical Engineer

Position Summary:

The engineer is responsible for participating in the design and development of high-end shock absorber supply for motorsport, military, aerospace, and passenger industry. Engineer will utilize knowledge of engineering principles, material sciences, fluid dynamics, and analysis to develop practical solutions for both custom and standard product applications which meet durability, performance, and cost targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design and development of new products from concept to launch
  • Assist in the research and development of products and technologies
  • Interface directly with customers and suppliers
  • Create detailed production drawings for use by internal and external manufacturing resources

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study
  • Proficient in CAD software such as PTC Creo, Siemens NX, CATIA, or equivalent
  • FEA Experience
  • Four years or more of experience in an engineering or production environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive attitude
  • Ability to take ownership and seek out answers
