Mechanical Design Engineer (Junior-Mid Level)

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for producing CAD designs of tooling systems for composite parts. This role will give you the opportunity to work in a variety of automotive and motorsport projects, gaining a broad range of experience in composite materials and engineering.

The tooling to be developed for component manufacture, bonding, inspection and assembly is tailored to the specifications of which the component requires and developed according to industry good practices. Tooling is designed to meet with the production quantities of the component and to ensure the high level quality of components, hence assuring and reducing run time in manufacture.

This is a fast paced environment and to succeed in this role you must be adaptable, demonstrate initiative along with the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. Also, strong skills in problem-solving and attention to detail are key factors.

Profile
Engineering degree;
Experience with CAD design tools;
Knowledge of manufacturing technologies used in production of metallic and composite parts;
Passionate about high performance sports cars, mechanical design and engineering solutions;

Desired skills
Experience and knowledge of Catia V5 mechanical and surface design;
Ability to use own initiative when working under pressure;
Flexibility and Adaptability are key;
Self reliant. Intrinsically self motivated
