JAC Products, a leading Global Tier 1 Automotive Supplier, is seeking an experienced Materials Specialist to join our fast-paced Corporate team! The Materials Specialist analyzes data, develops and implements materials systems improvements, and has shared ownership for information set-up and maintenance in the MRP.
Your Contributions:
- Act as a Project Manager to the plant team; monitor key metrics and manage process improvements.
- Lead weekly calls with plant leadership to review metrics, root cause analysis and countermeasures to achieve target results.
- Create new processes to improve materials systems; train stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Develop and maintain work instructions for all materials procedures.
- Write ODBC queries, including formatted templates to pull information out of the ERP system.
- Create and maintain BOMs, and materials costing/routing of parts, facilities, and vendors.
- Analyze materials discrepancies to determine root cause and make improvement recommendations to the team.
- Partner with plant materials teams to identify and implement create efficiencies.
