Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Support activities related to procurement, storage and shipment of components from Suppliers.
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and Electrical personnel to expedite shipments as needed for the business.
  • Support activities related to order entry, order build to lead time and shipment of PCBA’s to Business Unit
  • Issue POs/releases to suppliers.
  • Conduct cycle counts
  • Manage and implement ECO’s while minimizing impact to Manufacturing
  • Effectively communicate and resolve quality and delivery issues with suppliers to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
  • Utilize Material Systems in Electrical Components including the soon to be implemented D365 system
  • Work collectively within the Electrical Components Materials Team to identify, implement, and maintain best practices within our businesses.
  • Effectively communicate and resolve quality and delivery issues with suppliers to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
  • Proactively assist in Corrective Action Request process
  • Must be able to back up team members for vacation days and be willing to work with team on vacation scheduling.
  • Leadership of relevant materials projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must have an Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or related education pursing or perferred
  • Previous materials, supply chain experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision at times
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships within the division and externally
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and organizational skills
  • Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to read Bill of Material (BOM), assembly drawings, and prints.
  • Strong computer skills; computer skills using Magic, Macola, Windows, Word, Excel and Intranet are required
  • Ability to meet deadlines assigned
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
