Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Support activities related to procurement, storage and shipment of components from Suppliers.
- Work collaboratively with suppliers and Electrical personnel to expedite shipments as needed for the business.
- Support activities related to order entry, order build to lead time and shipment of PCBA’s to Business Unit
- Issue POs/releases to suppliers.
- Conduct cycle counts
- Manage and implement ECO’s while minimizing impact to Manufacturing
- Effectively communicate and resolve quality and delivery issues with suppliers to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
- Utilize Material Systems in Electrical Components including the soon to be implemented D365 system
- Work collectively within the Electrical Components Materials Team to identify, implement, and maintain best practices within our businesses.
- Effectively communicate and resolve quality and delivery issues with suppliers to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
- Proactively assist in Corrective Action Request process
- Must be able to back up team members for vacation days and be willing to work with team on vacation scheduling.
- Leadership of relevant materials projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Must have an Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or related education pursing or perferred
- Previous materials, supply chain experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision at times
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within the division and externally
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and organizational skills
- Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to read Bill of Material (BOM), assembly drawings, and prints.
- Strong computer skills; computer skills using Magic, Macola, Windows, Word, Excel and Intranet are required
- Ability to meet deadlines assigned
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
