Job Description

Position Summary
The Marketing Project Coordinator is responsible for the management of all phases of project planning and execution to ensure all the project success factors are met, including but not limited to scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication, and integration. Serves as the unifying agent providing leadership, management, direction, coordination, and control of the overall project.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, project oversight management, delegation, and coordination to the various internal divisions invested in the project.
  • Simultaneously, plan and manage execution of multiple project(s) as assigned. Drive process planning including scope definition, schedule development and monitoring.
  • Establish and maintain effective communications among all project stakeholders. Structure, lead, and/or assist in leading all project related meetings and reports required to ensure open communication between all team members, key stakeholders, and management (monthly project reviews, kickoff meetings, weekly reports, monthly reports, etc.) and to properly report project status. Works proactively to ensure team unity and serves as a mediator when appropriate to resolve issues.
  • Develops a thorough knowledge and understanding of Miller Welding, products, distributors, trends, and internal organization dynamics.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience managing projects, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Understanding of project management systems including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, and comfortable running project team meetings
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and manage multiple project stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems with keen instincts and organizational experience

  • Skilled at taking charge of a problem/situation and creating processes to ensure project completion
  • You are an inventive and enthusiastic problem solver
  • Can handle details with accuracy
  • Is flexible and adaptable to change
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Can plan and execute tasks independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills; listens, talks, writes and presents well. Communications are clear and concise
  • Can develop a proactive, friendly, trusted rapport with peers and agency personnel
  • Well-versed in taking action to avoid and/or resolve conflict.
  • Experience in B2B, welding, graphic design, tradeshows and/or with distributors are a plus
