Marketing Executive, F1 Academy

We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join F1 Academy supporting our Marketing Manager, as well as serving a key point of contact for internal stakeholders.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Senior Marketing Manager on delivery of contractual rights to partners with regards to content creation, including but not limited to branded partner content, content capture planning and partner content approvals.
  • Responsible for internal content capture planning at races, working with social media agency and internal departments, including travel and logistics planning.
  • Responsible for managing projects from end to end, including campaign and event asset production (passes, give-away items, posters etc.), and quality control.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager with any brand requests regarding the F1 Academy paddock and hospitality structures, including but not limited to, fan engagement opportunities and partner branding opportunities.
  • Provide additional event support at off-track events
  • Planning and execution of F1 Academy monthly newsletter working with the internal F1 Academy editor. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to content ideation, copy-writing and overseeing internal and external resources providing content, audience selection and management, and ongoing reporting.
  • Work with the F1 Academy Editor to ensure timely updates to the F1 Academy website on an ongoing basis, including taking responsibility for the optimization backlog to ensure the website continues to develop inline with overall strategy.
  • Create and update external and internal reports on marketing performance and work closely with the brand and insights team on presenting up-to-date information to the wider F1 business as well as partners.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in all aspects of administrative tasks such as supplier set up, purchase order tracking and budget updates.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager with the day-to-day liaison with social media agency, including joining weekly calls, overseeing the social media channel plan and working closely with the F1 social media team.
  • Work with and manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders including brands and agencies.
  • Undertake other duties within your capability as your Team Leader may assign to you from time to time.

About You

  • Experience in similar role at a dynamic organisation supporting a fast-paced team;
  • Experience of working with large brands (ideally in sports) utilising integrated marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge within sport /sport business
  • Able to work simultaneously on different projects in different timezones
  • Interest in sport/sport business
  • A positive, confident and determined approach to work.
  • Experience of working in a dynamic environment, often to tight deadlines, with a collaborative and ‘can do’ approach
  • Proactive and self-sufficient with excellent interpersonal skills
