Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the daily management of Circle BMW’s primary website and all online marketing of Circle BMW’s new, CPO and used inventory. Attention to real-time, accurate information is critical and requires constant monitoring of Circle BMW’s websites and major social media outlets such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and Twitter. The digital marketing coordinator will ensure that all inventories on the company’s website and third party sites such as Car Gurus, etc., are optimized for search engines and thus readily available to customers. Using Google Analytics and data from other third parties, the digital marketing coordinator will generate reports and monitor Circle BMW’s online positioning. In addition to supporting the marketing efforts of the Sales, Service and Parts Departments, the digital marketing coordinator will develop and post content for the company blog and monthly newsletter. The digital marketing coordinator will work closely with the New and Pre-Owned Sales Managers and build relationships with various vendors such as Shift Digital, Dealer Inspire, VIN Solutions, Target Pro Plus, Car Gurus, CarFax, Friendemic, V-Auto and BOC Partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily inspection of website. Constant monitoring and updating of content, inventory, etc. Work closely with Dealer Inspire to maintain accurate and relevant virtual online presence.
  • Edit and improve inventory accuracy on website, i.e. trim, options, exterior and interior colors, etc.
  • Update website each month with National lease offers.
  • Implementation and maintenance of the dealership’s new, pre-owned and used digital marketing presence, including website content management, third party lead providers, social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google and PPC, SEO & SEM.
  • Create banners and landing pages on website for monthly programs and events.
  • Keep staff page on website up to date.
  • Data analysis and report generation using Google Analytics and information from third party data providers.
  • Creating and posting relevant blogs to bolster website traffic.
  • Manage Facebook advertising: New, CPO, Used and Aftersales ads.
  • Work with social media team (Dealer Inspire and Friendemic) to plan postings and strategize to boost posts.
  • Design and execute email blasts to our CRM database.
  • Work with BOC Partners on newspaper ads, conquest email blasts, SEM and other projects.
  • Oversee Circle BMW mobile App and send incentives and event notifications.
  • Coordinate and insert relevant content into monthly newsletter (I Make News).
  • Involvement with the processing of retail and aftersales co-op pre-approvals, submissions and reconciliation.
  • Assist with management, tracking and updating of marketing budget and spreadsheet.
  • Plan and execute on and offsite events for dealership.
  • Reputation management: respond to negative reviews.
  • Assist with management of interns.
  • Assess potential products and services and schedule demos for management team. Provide implementation assistance of new vendors.
  • Assisting with any and all other marketing department functions on an as-needed basis.
  • Complete training requirements on behalf of dealership. Stay current with trends.

Skills and Specifications:

  • Ability to develop, recommend/present and implement digital strategies across email, website, social media.
  • Fluency in Google Analytics, PPC, SEM, SEO, and all other aspects of online marketing are essential.
  • Gather data and create top-level reports.
  • Time management, prioritization, organizational skills, attentiveness, accuracy in performance and a keen attention to detail are essential to this position.
  • Effective presentation of information and strong communication skills for responding to managers and coordinating with vendors as necessary.
  • Patience, logic and ability to organize and analyze detailed data & metrics for marketing ROI reporting and formulating recommendations.
