Glebe Engineering is a small and long established family engineering firm in Newcastle, Stoke on Trent. They are looking for an experienced manual miller to join their growing work force. Position is a long term, full time, permanent position in a company known for their retention of staff.
Successful applicants must demonstrate the following:
- Apprentice trained is preferable but not essential
- A methodical approach and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand technical drawings and work to produce high quality parts
- Past experience within the precision engineering markets - Aerospace, Automotive, MOD, Oil & Gas, motorsport etc.
- Ability to manufacture small batches and one offs
- Ability to inspect own parts
- Bridgeport turret mill or similar experience
