Historic race team looking to employ skilled machinist, to manufacture new parts and machine race car parts as required.
Ideal applicant will use be able to use manual and CNC milling machines and Manual and CNC lathes. An interest in motorsport and the ability to use a CAD drawing package along with Programming would be an advantage.
The potential candidate should be able to work from original parts and drawings. The ability to work under own initiative is essential.
This would be ideal for toolmaker, machinist, time served apprentice or person with similar experience. An exciting opportunity to work in an interesting and friendly environment, with possibility to travel and be part of race team if you wish.
Hours and work can be relatively flexible to suit requirements. A knowledge of Heidenhein controls and Fanuc control systems would be helpful.
