Role Overview

We are seeking a Manager, University and Campus Recruitment with a successful track record of identifying, engaging, and closing top early career talent from undergraduate and graduate level programs. Someone who is adept at influencing key partners and hiring leader, and a proven ability to effectively build relationships across all levels of the organization. A recruiter committed to collaborating with internal and external diversity partners to develop and implement attraction strategies at respective schools and organizations. You are driven and always find ways of improving the quality of your work. We are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal and consultative skills who can successfully flawlessly execute hiring tasks in a fast-paced environment. You'll report directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition and help build relationships with campuses across the U.S. and work closely with business partners to help guide their teams when hiring junior talent.

  • Ownership of the campus recruiting and hiring process for the organization
  • Partner with the internal Campus team members to support the recruiting strategy on university campuses
  • Develop positive relationships with college and university faculty, staff, and student organizations to build a customized approach to recruiting
  • Partner with business leaders to assess their recruiting needs and anticipate future needs
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics and make recommendations for improvements
  • Manage an active schedule of on-campus events, such as career fairs, student group networking events and interviews. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure there is a high-energy company presence at each event
  • Represent Fisker at hiring focused events, as well as DIB (diversity, inclusion, and belonging) hiring focused conferences
  • Act as a resource to interns throughout their internship including onboarding, performance evaluation and conversion process
  • Adopt and streamline a robust graduate training program that will pipeline talent into our cross functional businesses
  • Collaborate closely with TA team to ensure a diverse pipeline of candidates for the graduate training program, as well as develop and foster a welcoming community for graduate training employees to thrive
  • You will serve as a liaison from University Relations to broader Recruiting as well as partner with talent sourcing on pipelining strategies
  • Ability to coach and mentor graduate training employees during their time at the company
  • Measure the success of the graduate training program using metrics

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in developing, planning, and managing early in career and/or university recruitment strategies and programs is a must
  • Proven and successful track record engaging, selling, and recruiting the very best university talent across technical and non-technical positions
  • Deep understanding of building sourcing strategies to identify and hire top talent and measuring ROI/KPIs
  • Expert knowledge of recruiting practices, principles, applications and methods, including interviewing and assessment skills
  • Proven track record to effectively build relationships across all levels of the organization, and flawlessly execute in a very fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and consultative skills and can influence at all levels
  • Ability and desire to travel during peak recruiting season (post-COVID-19)
  • Experience and passion for recruiting, building programs, and pipelines among entry-level and student talent
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, and extraordinary attention to detail and follow-through with both candidates and hiring managers alike

Eligibility:

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical recruiter or sourcer, University Recruiting experience preferred
  • Event and Program Management experience preferred
  • Experience processing candidates through Applicant Tracking Systems
  • A passion for providing an exceptional candidate experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 40% during peak recruiting season and work flexible hours when needed (post-Covid-19) 
  • BA/BS degree in related field
