Job Description:

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Manager, Track Marketing based in either our Charlotte, North Carolina or Daytona Beach, Florida office.

The Manager, Track Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of marketing campaigns designed to build awareness and drive attendance to events on the national series schedule.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop event specific marketing campaigns in collaboration with assigned tracks and Marketing team
  • Provide strategic insight for key events/industry initiatives relating to tracks/events
  • Partner with Research & Insights team to identify priority target audiences, fan/consumer insights to inform campaign plans and messaging and to establish tracking and measurement plans
  • Develop promotional assets, in collaboration with Brand Team, including but not limited to event specific advertising creative, graphics, signage, content, etc.
  • Identify optimized use of Driver/Team assets for event promotion in partnership with Driver and Team Marketing
  • Develop content strategy for marketing campaigns in collaboration with social, digital, production and other business units
  • Align internal/external stakeholders around event specific marketing plans, goals and objectives
  • Manage event recaps for tracking/reporting successes and identifying best practices and areas for improvement
  • Manage the day-to-day contact for assigned tracks
  • Assist tracks with marketing activation leading up to and during event weekend
  • Analyze results of campaigns after events; apply insights to future event plans

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of experience in motorsports/sports marketing, marketing, project management or public relations/communications
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles
  • Exceptional team and interpersonal skills
  • Superior follow-through with a high-level of accountability for assigned tasks
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and passion for marketing
  • Strong executional capabilities
  • Desire and ability to create and champion a vision
  • Strong collaboration skills are critical
