Manager of Ticketing

This race track located in Sebring, Florida, is America’s oldest road racing track, with over six decades of storied history. It hosts the historic Twelve Hours of Sebring each year on the third Saturday of March on the 3.74-mile road course. The Twelve Hours of Sebring is one of the four endurance races on the IMSA schedule.

Sebring International Raceway seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Ticketing Manager based in our Sebring, Florida racetrack.

This position is responsible for management of our ticketing system and sales, as well as RV ticketing sales.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all track ticketing procedures for all events (complying with corporate policies and procedures for audit purposes).
  • Provide input for the next generation ticketing system.
  • Responsible for all financial reconciling of event reports and cash receipts- pre, post and during events.
  • Prepare all ticket reporting.
  • Assist with will call, ticket booth and administrative lobby staff scheduling and training.
  • Management of all administrative and part time staff that assist with ticketing sales.
  • Manage reserved parking, RV sales process. (Including Driver /Owner RV spots).
  • Manage registration process for Sebring Raceway promoters events.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure accuracy of ticketing information on the website, e-commerce communications, etc.
  • Maintain ticketing sales, ticket production, and mailing timelines.
  • Responsible for telephone system answering software, messaging, application for incoming calls.
  • Responsible for administrative office souvenir sales.
  • Work with marketing on ticket production or designs.
  • May be called to perform ticket sales duties at other NASCAR facilities.

Required skills / experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the area of customer service or sales.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, with above average Excel skills.
  • ProVenue or Tableau system experience is a plus.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Must also have good oral and written communications skills as well as excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and work ethic.
  • May occasionally have to work overtime as needed, to meet the objectives of the position and department. 
  • Must work extensive hours and weekends leading up to and during the 12-hour race in March.
