Job Description

NASCAR Industry Marketing seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Manager, Driver Marketing. Responsible for the coordination and execution of key programs within the company’s Driver Marketing division.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Manage Driver Star Power 2.0 program including ideation, conceptualization, performance evaluation etc. Includes partnering with agency partner and internal stakeholders to grow driver brand awareness

Oversee driver usage tools and requests

Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the NASCAR Next program, including but not limited to overseeing the selection process, training, identifying media opportunities, overseeing travel, approving apparel, etc. with support from Industry Marketing Team

Deliver driver participation in non-endemic opportunities including social/traditional media, entertainment opportunities and content

Lead and coordinate the Driver Development Seminar along side Manager of Driver and Team Marketing

Work closely with team and driver representatives on day to day requests and best practices including social media, brand development, etc.

Build and maintain relationships and consensus throughout the industry, including current drivers, PR reps and management teams

Collaborate with the Driver and Team Marketing team on the overall process for driver appearance management

Support on Driver Playbook coordination and execution

Generate reports that includes video, photos and social media activity around driver appearances

Approximate travel 30%, including weekends.

Qualifications include the following:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 4 years of teams or tracks, motorsports/sports marketing industry, talent management, athlete development, marketing, public relations/communications experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be proficient in digital and social media communications. Must have impeccable writing skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks in an extremely fast paced environment, be extremely organized and have an eye for detail.
