Manager, Content Partnerships

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Manager, Content Partnerships based in Charlotte, NC.

The Manager, Content Partnerships manages the execution and delivery of content to Industry partners. The Manager will collaborate with teams, sponsors, agencies and talent to generate best-in-class partnerships and content.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage inbound content requests; develop, communicate and oversee execution of clear KPIs, including project requirements and specifications and required deliverables
  • Manage project details from inception to delivery; work closely with project managers on project details, deliverables, and billing
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for efficiency to relevant work groups; this includes collaboration with the production management teams to ensure maximation of internal resources across editorial and content needs
  • Responsible for budget management including generating quotes for new and existing clients based on production project scope
  • Work with Leadership, Creative Directors and Coordinating Producers to create presentations and pitches to internal departments and external clients
  • Report problems, provide solutions, and implement changes as necessary to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Provide expert content management insight in daily planning meetings; manage action items and assign to respective departments in support of projects and assignments
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Producers to produce recap reports at the end of each project
  • Attend shoots as needed
  • Travel: 10%, including weekends
  • Directly supervises assigned staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of five (5) years production experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient on company provided hardware and software including Microsoft Office Suite, Mac OS, and Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Well organized and flexible to shifting priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Working knowledge of broadcasting and post- production processes
  • Established relationships within the industry are preferred
